Hidden Treasure
For too many years, a mother's ring from a previous generation lay forgotten with other odds and ends in the bottom of an old jewelry box. Desiring to trade it in towards a new jewelry purchase, a valued customer was surprised to learn that the old ring still had some life. Using the shank of the ring to create a frame and initial, one of the old birthstones was salvaged, and a new heirloom was created. Upon seeing the newly designed pendant Geraldine exclaimed, "I can't believe it's Mom's old ring! How precious!"
Turning the Page
"I'll spare you the details," Judy said, pulling a retired ring from her purse. "I want this made into a pendant or anything else that doesn't resemble or remind me of a wedding ring." I was given free reign and came up with a way to use the mounted diamond and ring shank in a manner that would complement the marquis

Old Diamonds Never Die
"I have some old jewelry and would like something unique and durable," was the request made by a return customer holding an assortment of rings, pendants, and earrings in her hand. After removing the diamonds from the old jewelry and sorting out what matched, a few sketches were drawn and a decision was made. "How about if you just make me something nice. I trust your judgment," she said. The diamonds were bezel-set in a ring shank fabricated from a length of heavy 14k gold wire. Admiring her new ring, the customer replied, "It's perfect! I will be back." She was as good as her word!
